preparation
Soak the rice in warm water for about 60 minutes. Then drain and add it to boiling water. Cook over high heat for 8–10 minutes, then drain again. Add salt and oil to taste, return to the pot, cover, and steam over high heat for 2–4 minutes, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20–30 minutes.
